Custom gift set MOQ: planning 300, 500 or 1,000 sets
Yiwu Merch Studio accepts gift set projects from 300 complete sets. This is our minimum project size, not a promise that every product, color or custom box can be produced at 300. Component MOQs are checked before the final quote.
What does “300 sets” mean?
A set is one finished gift package containing the agreed items. If one kit contains a bottle, notebook and pen, an order for 300 kits needs 300 of each item, plus the agreed packaging. Buying 100 of each item makes 100 complete kits, not 300 kits.
One shared design and packaging specification is the clearest starting point. Splitting 300 sets across several colors, logos or box sizes may put individual production runs below the supplier’s MOQ.
Which quantity should you request?

Ask for 300 / 500 / 1,000 comparisons using the same specification. A larger order can spread fixed setup costs across more units, but it also increases cash tied up in stock. We confirm actual prices rather than promise a percentage saving.
Do custom toys have the same MOQ?
No. Gift sets are counted in complete packages; standalone toys are counted in pieces. Custom rubber duck and vinyl molding projects commonly require 1,000–2,000 pieces, depending on the design. PU slow-rise toy projects are reviewed from 2,000 pieces. Other existing-mold squishy products can be reviewed from 300 pieces, with material, color and packaging minimums confirmed separately.

Can I approve a sample before ordering?
Yes. Select “Sample for a bulk project” in the quote form and enter your expected production quantity. The sample itself does not need to contain 300 sets. Available samples, custom sample work, tooling and courier charges are quoted before you approve them.
A sample inquiry is evaluated against the intended bulk order. It does not automatically confirm product availability, mass-production pricing or a delivery date.
How should I set the budget?
Give us the currency and say whether the budget covers goods only or goods plus freight. Separately identify products, decoration, gift box and insert, assembly, sample or tooling costs, inspection, freight and any destination charges included in the agreed delivery terms.
For comparison: total quoted project cost divided by the number of complete sets gives the quoted cost per set. It is a landed cost only when all applicable delivery and destination charges are included.
Can you accept fewer than 300 gift sets?
Our current gift-set service is focused on projects of 300 complete sets or more. If your campaign is smaller, do not increase the quantity solely to meet the form: first decide whether your budget and expected demand support a larger order. Existing discussions are reviewed against their agreed scope.
